A Community Acupuncture treatment is performed in a group setting on a comfortable recliner or treatment table. The group setting enhances treatments by creating a collective healing energy, similar to group meditation or yoga.

Patients wear comfortable clothing and are treated using "distal" points on the arms, legs, neck, or head to treat various conditions. For example someone with back pain might be treated with acupuncture points on their hands.
