Treatments are available at the West Los Angeles Studio for a sliding scale of $25-$40 and at The Healing Center in the Mid-Wilshire area for a slding scale of $15-$35 . The sliding scale is available to everyone!

What is Community Acupuncture?

Community Acupuncture is a grass roots movement that is spreading across the US, providing access to effective Acupuncture treatments at an affordable price. This model of care offers effective treatments comparable to the cost of most insurance co-pays.

The goal is to make acupuncture available to you as often as you need it to achieve and maintain vibrant health!

Acupuncture is most effective when administered frequently. That is the way acupuncture is practiced in China and other Asian countries to achieve rapid and consistent results. With affordable rates, community acupuncture makes it possible for patients to receive treatments frequent enough to effectively and consistently resolve pain and other health conditions.

What can I expect?

A Community Acupuncture treatment is performed in an open setting on a comfortable recliner or treatment table. Each patient comes in at their designated appointment time and receives an individual assesment and treatment based on thier own needs.

Once the acupuncuncture treatment has been performed patients are able to relax in the community room. The group setting enhances treatments by creating a collective healing energy, similar to group meditation or yoga.

Patients wear comfortable clothing that can easily be pulled up to the knees and elbows to allow for treatment using "distal" points on the arms, legs, neck, or head to treat various conditions. For example someone with back pain might be treated with acupuncture points on their arms and legs. This style of treatment in not only convenient, but extremely effective.

Patients often feel reduction of pain and other symptoms within minutes!
