Treatments are performed in an open setting on a comfortable recliner or treatment table. Each patient comes in at their designated appointment time and receives an individual assessment and treatment based on their own needs.
Once the acupuncture treatment has been performed, patients are able to relax in the community room for 40 to 60 minutes. The group setting enhances treatments by creating a collective healing energy, similar to group meditation or yoga. Patients often enter deep sleep during their treatments.
Patients wear comfortable clothing that can easily be pulled up to the knees and elbows to allow for treatment using "distal" points on the arms, legs, neck, or head to treat various conditions. For example someone with back pain might be treated with acupuncture points on their arms and legs. This style of treatment is not only convenient, but also extremely effective.
