At Costa Acupuncture we charge a sliding scale for all acupuncture treatments. Patients pay anywhere between $25-$45 for each treatment. There is an additional $5 administrative fee for the first visit only.
The purpose of the sliding scale is to make treatments available to more people and so that patients can come as frequently as necessary to get better.
WHY?
The sliding scale makes acupuncture accessible to a large segment of the population that would not ordinarily be able to afford acupuncture treatments in Los Angeles which typically run anywhere from $80-$150+ per treatment.
The sliding scale eliminates the need for insurance coverage. Patients no longer need to worry whether their insurance will cover a specific complaint or if their coverage will run out. With the affordable sliding scale at Costa Acupuncture you can receive acupuncture treatments for prices comparable to most insurance co-pays.
The other purpose of the sliding scale is to allow patients to come as frequent as necessary in order to resolve their complaints. Acupuncture is most effective when done over short intervals of time. It is common for patients to receive acupuncture daily or every other day in China in order to achieve rapid results for severe cases.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Patients choose anywhere along the sliding they can afford. Most patients will take into account their financial situation and the recommended frequency of treatment for their complaint when deciding how much to pay. Patients are able to adjust their payment each visit depending on their current situation.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Everyone and anyone can get a treatment at Costa Acupuncture and pay within the sliding scale of $25-$45.
DO I HAVE TO PAY THE SAME AMOUNT EVERY VISIT?
No. We understand that your financial situation changes over time as does your need for treatment. You can pay anywhere along the scale each visit.
